Our mid-sized and growing Vancouver public practice firm provides accounting, tax, consulting and CFO advisory services to both public and private companies, with a significant focus on public mining companies. Due to continued growth, we are adding a Senior Level Tax Manager to our five-person tax team. Reporting to the Principal of Tax, you will lead a motivated and dynamic group, oversee complex compliance engagements and contribute to tax planning initiatives while building strong, trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee corporate tax compliance engagements
Supervise and mentor team members preparing Canadian income tax, GST, and information returns
Develop and execute tax planning and research projects
Serve as a primary client contact, providing proactive insights and solutions
Manage multiple projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Conduct analytical reviews of tax compliance and advisory work
Identify value‑added recommendations and process improvements
Required Qualifications
Canadian CPA designation
Completion or active enrollment in the In‑Depth Tax Program (preferred)
Minimum 4+ years of progressive Canadian tax experience
Strong technical knowledge of tax and accounting principles for both private and public companies, including experience with public mining clients (an asset)
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Genuine interest in tax advisory and research
